Receptionist [Casual / On-call / Holiday Relief Position
The Hailika'as Heiltsuk Health Centre is seeking to fill the casual / on-call / holiday relief position of Receptionist.
Purpose: The
primary purposes of this position are to meet and greet visitors coming into the Health Centre and directing them to the appropriate
staff, answer incoming telephone calls and directing them to appropriate staff, care card administration, and any other basic office
related duties as required (faxing, photocopying, word processing, etc...)
Please Note ~ At times you may be called into work
with very short notice.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent, previous experience is a definite asset.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.
- Pleasant
telephone manner, Knowledge of basic office
policy and procedure, Knowledge of
basic offic equipment.
- Self-starter, reliable, punctual, hard working, multi-tasker.
- Able to take direction and work as part of a team yet also work
independantly at times,

Must produce evidence of a criminal record check,
- healthy lifestyle.

Josh Carpenter our ISD Coordinator has relocated from the Hailika'as Heiltsuk Health Centre to the Heiltsuk
Tribal Council administration building. Josh can now be reached at (250) 957-2381.
Roberta Reid, Patient Transportation
Program Manager has taken an early leave of absence before her maternity leave begins.
We ask that you not call Roberta
at home for any Patient Transportation related reasons as she is officially on leave.
